Vallarta Supermarket in Santa Maria, California

44,000 sq. ft. tenant Improvement for Vallarta Supermarket. Obtain permit, schedule subcontractors, and coordinate with owner weekly meetings. Daily supervision of project.


2014


Vallarta Supermarket in Oxnard, California

67,000 sq. ft. tenant Improvement for Vallarta Supermarket and 35,000 sq. ft. shopping center for developer. Obtain permit, schedule subcontractors, and coordinate with owner and developer weekly meetings. Daily supervision of project.


2013


Vallarta Supermarket in Simi Valley, California

78,000 sq. ft. tenant Improvement for Vallarta Supermarket. Obtain permit, schedule subcontractors, and coordinate with owner and developer weekly meetings. Daily supervision of project.

April-December 2007

Sculpterra Winery in Paso Robles, California

Recovery contractor on Wine Tasting Room. MMC was the third contractor brought in to complete the tasting room. Previous contractor missed schedules and work was substandard. Organized the existing subcontractors and new subcontractors to obtain bids to complete project. Met with the head official of the north county building department, CDF, and SLO Planning to bring the project back to compliance. Worked with bank officials and inspectors and completed project.


2002-2007

 

DRS Technologies (Boeing) in Cypress, California

General Contractor with contract to relocate clean rooms and labs from Boeing building 241 to building 222 in 2002. General Contractor with contract to relocate two DRS facilities from Anaheim and Torrance to a 94,000 sq. ft. shell building in Cypress, California starting in 2003. Constructed the 60,000 sq. ft. office tenant improvement on first phase, constructed the 34,000 sq. ft. clean room and labs on the second phase. General Contractor with contract to install a three-story elevator for the third phase. In charge of obtaining bids, signing contracts, verifying insurance requirements, scheduling work, project on-site supervision, attending owner meetings, billing for progress work, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors and getting written change orders from owners. 2001-2002

Lockheed/Martin in Santa Barbara, California

General Contractor with contract to install a class 1000 clean room and office tenant improvement in an existing 20,000 sq. ft. building. In charge of obtaining bids, signing contracts, verifying insurance requirements, scheduling work, on-site supervision, attending owner meetings, billing for progress work, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors, and getting written change orders from owners. Referred by the DuPont Company.


2001

General Contractor with contract to expand an existing clean room and construct various tenant improvements in an existing 15,000 sq. ft. building. In charge of obtaining bids, signing contracts, verifying insurance requirements, scheduling work, on-site supervision, attending owner meetings, billing for progress work, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors and getting written change orders from owners. 1997-2001

Medtronic in Santa Barbara, California

General Contractor with contract to construct various tenant improvements and a new clean room in an existing 80,000 sq. ft. building. In charge of obtaining bids, signing contracts, verifying insurance requirements, scheduling work, on-site supervision, attending owner meetings, billing for progress work, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors and getting written change orders from owners.


1982-1997

Commercial Projects/VAFB/Custom Homes in Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria, California

General Contractor constructed various public and private commercial projects in various states. Projects include concrete tilt up buildings, bank building, bridge and major chain retail remodels. Constructed various projects at VAFB under the “Saber” program and built 90,000 Sq. Ft. Grocery Commissary. General Contractor built upper-end custom homes. In charge of obtaining bids, signing contracts, verifying insurance requirements, scheduling work, on-site daily supervision of projects, attending owner meetings, billing for progress work, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors and getting written change orders from owners.


1981-1982

 

Apartment Complex in Norman, Oklahoma

Recovery Contractor for Mastercraft Development Company to build two blocks of apartment buildings. In charge of supervising project on-site, scheduling work for 50 plus employees and various subcontractors, approving project billings from materials and subcontractors, meeting with bank representatives and owners, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors.


1976-1981

Custom Homes in Klamath Falls, Oregon

General Contractor with contracts to construct various upper-end custom homes and commercial projects. Residential Custom Homes included the head attorney for the Mattel Toy Corporation, the Vice President of Weyerhaeuser, etc. Commercial projects included: Ben Franklin Savings and Loan, Lorella Fire Station, Kingsley AFB, local school projects, Heaton Steel and Supply corporate offices, and various government small projects. In charge of meeting with owners, working with architects and engineers on design and costs, obtaining bids, signing contracts with owner and subcontractors, scheduling work, on-site daily supervision, attending owner meetings, billing for progress payments, paying project bills and subcontractors, scheduling and meeting with building inspectors, and managing written change orders.
